The Hallelujah Challenge

A 30-Day midnight praise challenge that started June 1 – June 30, 2017.

The Hallelujah Challenge attracted over 100,000 Nigerians from all over the world to one ‘Instagram Live’ video feed and later ‘Facebook Live’ TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP GOD!

In Nathaniel Bassey’s words during the Hallelujah Challenge month:

“It started as an inspiration from God. It was the leading of the holy spirit, following up on something we called the ‘Tongue challenge’ which was initially praying for one hour every month in the month of May. When we were done, I just sensed that God wanted us to praise him in the month of June, in the midnight hour based on Acts 16:25-26 and the kind of praise should be the hallelujah kind of praise.

The number of people joining the challenge keeps rising on a daily basis, the last session had over 70,000 people and that’s not including the over 90,000 who joined via Facebook.”

Hallelujah Challenge – All power belongs to God.

We will be having a 30-minute insta-Live Testimony session in the evenings, Way before the Hallelujah Challenge at midnight.
We want to take about 2-3 testimonies each day in the form of a chat session with real people who have experienced God’s hand these past editions.
Why? Simple. Apart from the fact that it is a great spiritual practice to tell of God’s wonderful works publicly, “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
”Psalm 96:3
we want to saturate the atmosphere with God’s goodness, especially at this time when there is so much fear and stories of death, and ailing economy with the accompanying issues. We want to create an atmosphere of Faith and Hope as we prepare for the sessions at night.

So if you are bold enough and unashamed to share publicly, please send a dm to the @theoasislagos and also copy @nathanielblow on twitter. And they will get in touch with you to verify and get you to share it over a chat session.

If you want the testimonies to be published on our website, kindly send a mail to testimonies@hallelujahchallenge.ng

Hallelujah Challenge Special

Call it Hallelujah Challenge special and you won’t be wrong. “David built an altar there to the Lord and sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings. And the Lord answered his prayer for the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.”
‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭24:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I learnt a long time a ago that one of my job descriptions was to SHIFT THE ATMOSPHERE ! We carry divine ability to alter the spiritual and even natural atmosphere of a space. We want to shift the atmosphere of fear in the nations by offering Sacrificial praise and worship from all around the world.
Many music ministers have signed up. And come 5 minutes past mid night, will all be releasing sounds of deliverance into the atmosphere.

“For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭32:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Tag everyone you know QUICK!

June 25 – July 9, 2018

Hallelujah Challenge

What a way to start the second half of the year 2018 with the Hallelujah Challenge.

Nathaniel’s spent sometime praying to know if we should do this. And while in Liberia praying, I had the release to do so. But I’ve just seen 14. And I’d rather stick with that. A number of you have asked to make it one month. But it’s not to me to decide. But who knows. Meanwhile, get ready!

Before the 14-Day event, Nathaniel’s urges everyone to partake in a 7-day “praying in the spirit” exercise from 18th - 24th June 2018. During these seven days, there will be a 3-hour prayer chain, one of those hours will be done live on Instagram. The purpose is to prepare spiritually for the event.

“I’ve learned that in our kingdom, anything of value must be cooked in the place of prayer and the word. And while in Israel, the Lord spoke some great things to us. And we can only anticipate a glorious future ahead”.

“We want SOULS SAVED. We want to experience personal, National and global revival. We want to see JESUS LIFTED HIGH. The sick healed. Dead things coming alive. Reconciliation and Restoration in our homes, churches, and cities. Will be sharing a song or two that will ring through the challenge. And trusting that we receive new ones as we go.”

Bible verses to be used for the prayers include Psalm 89:20–29, Psalm 46, Isaiah 54:15–17 and Proverbs 18:10.
